Trial Lesson Vouchers

Enjoy an introduction to flying with a trial lesson at Tatenhill Aviation. The flying experiences give you the opportunity to take the controls under the guidance of our experienced instructors. We offer introductory flight packages detailed below – all include a pre-flight briefing, the ‘hands-on flight’ and count towards your Private Pilot’s Licence.

Our airfield’s cafe, serving hot and cold food throughout each day of the week and with runway views, is ideal for friends and family accompanying you.

All vouchers are valid for 12 months from the date of issue and are non-refundable.
Turnaround for the email of e-vouchers is normally 2 working days.

You can start training from age 14, fly solo at 16, and hold a PPL from age 17. If a student is under 18, a signed Parental/Guardian Consent Form must be returned before the flight. This will be sent to you during the booking process. The minimum age for a flying lesson is 14 years old and tall enough to reach and operate all controls safely. Flight time can be logged towards a future Private Pilot’s Licence (PPL).  There isn’t a maximum age for participants, as long as you are physically able to board and exit the aircraft safely. Weight and height limits vary depending on the aircraft type.
